From Bangalore, I make small, focused apps, help a children's education trust, and head into the hills with binoculars whenever I can.
One stream of writing and projects. Technology, travel and whatever else is on my mind.
Three days in the Darjeeling hills
On the road up from the plains, the mountain changes faster than the weather. In a single drive the route climbs more than two kilometres, from warm forest where hornbills feed on fruit to a ridge wrapped in cloud, where owls sleep in bamboo and partridges walk on moss.

Things I'm building, backing, or involved with.
Small apps that each solve one problem. Includes showhands and heypronto.
LiveI am involved with this Bengaluru trust, which helps children in government schools stay in education through scholarships, stationery and computer literacy.
InvolvedAn experiential kitchen I am building with a small team. Something is stirring.
Coming soonI like making things useful and understandable, and helping people do good work. Some of that takes shape in software; some takes me into other kinds of projects.
I build small, focused apps through benchbay, am involved with Spandana's work in education, and am building The Kaaram Kulture with a small team. These are some of the things I'm involved with, not a boundary around what comes next.
Away from the screen I travel, trying to understand nature a little better each time, and I write down what I notice.
